Accommodation update

The preferential hotel room allotments reserved for Prognosfruit 2026 participants expired on 2 July 2026. The negotiated conference rates and room contingents are therefore no longer available.

Participants wishing to book accommodation in Konstanz are kindly requested to make their reservations directly through regular booking channels, such as hotel websites or online booking platforms (e.g. Booking.com, HRS, Expedia, etc.). We recommend the following Hotels:

  • Hampton by Hilton (Not in the city center but close (10 – 15 min. walk) to the conference venue)
  • The Niu Flower (Not in the city center but close (10 – 15 min. walk) to the conference venue)
  • Hotel Alte Post (City center and near train station. 25 min. walk to conference venue)
  • Hotel Halm (City center and near train station. 25 min. walk to conference venue)
  • Steigenberger Inselhotel (City center and near train station. 25 min. walk to conference venue)
  • HARBR.Konstanz (Close to the conference venue (8 min walk) but not in the city center)

Please note that Konstanzer Seenachtfest will take place on 8 August 2026, attracting a large number of visitors to the region. Accommodation availability in and around Konstanz is expected to become very limited as the event approaches. We therefore strongly recommend booking your hotel as soon as possible to secure suitable accommodation.

Travel to Constance via Zurich Airport

Zurich Airport is the most convenient international gateway to Konstanz, offering excellent global connections and frequent direct flights from major cities in Europe and worldwide. Upon arrival, travelling onward to Konstanz is straightforward: there are direct train connections from Zurich Airport to Konstanz once per hour. In addition, a second connection operates every hour with just one transfer, providing flexible options throughout the day. The journey is comfortable, and the train station at Zurich Airport is well signposted. Tickets can be easily purchased in advance or on the day of travel via the Swiss Federal Railways website: www.sbb.ch.
